Nature at Heart School's outdoor classes offer an opportunity to collaborate, wonder and explore in and with nature. Grown-ups drop off their child, ages 5-10, for this 75-minute class. The children will use their senses to actively learn about the local environment through guided and self-directed experiences. We provide materials such as magnifying glasses and nature journals to help facilitate deep nature connections.

Classes are held at Chimney Rock Park, 736 Chimney Rock Road. All participants need to wear appropriate seasonal clothing and close-toed shoes. If a class is cancelled, one make-up class is offered.
